DESCRIPTION:Once a year we take a moment to purposely recognize that our lo
cal church is part of something much bigger - the multi-generational\, glo
bal church. We recognize all who come to the table - whether you receive c
ommunion\, the Lord's supper\,  or eucharist\, whether your bread contain
s yeast\, is matza\, or a tortilla. We recognize the unity of believers an
d remember Christ's prayer that we might be one (John 17:20-23).\nThis yea
r's special emphasis: The craft group has created special table coverings
and decorations for fellowship hall to honor churches from other countries
 .\nThis year's Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27\; Philippians 1:6\; John
17:20-23\nTo learn more about World Communion Sunday\, we welcome you to v
