The Disciples of Christ Denomination
Noelridge Christian Church is firmly grounded in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination.
Founded in America in the 1800s, the church continues to be influenced by its founding ideals of our unity in Christ with openness and diversity in practice and belief.
As Disciples, we strive to remain obedient to the teachings of Jesus and the New Testament by practicing a faith that is socially relevant. We are bound together in fellowship and service by belief in the central confession of the New Testament “that Jesus is the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 16:16).
Our congregation celebrates the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. We practice open communion, which means it is not necessary to belong to our church to take communion.
