Players for the NCC intermediate summer sandpit volleyball team pose on Court 2 of host church Oakland Church of the Nazarene on Thursday evening, August 1, 2013 following their end-of-the-season championship game against Adriane Van Auken’s (#2 seed) Church on Northland team. NCC made an improbable run for the championship as a fourth seed in the six-team tournament field. They were 6-0 against the three teams they played to win the crown.
