Did you know that Noelridge gives a tithe (10%) of our general offering to mission purposes?
Each month when we set aside the tithe – from that tithe we will give:
30% to fight food insecurity. We will partner with SEMP and Mt. Zion Food Bank.
18% to support families. We will support Helping Hands Ministry.
10% for children and youth programs. We will continue our support of MomCo and Bowman Woods Elementary.
10% for mental health. We are in process of researching a few organizations to learn more about how they would use our financial gift.
10% for older adults. We have selected a few organizations that we are learning more about before making a decision on who to support.
Reserve fund for our church family. We will keep a certain amount of money in reserve to support our church members and regular attenders for those unexpected moments in life.
22% for seasonal / events / and to cover the margin when needed.
And we will support fundraising efforts for African Hope – to support the school and medical clinic in Tanzania.
We hope that in partnering with specific organizations we will bless them with the stability that comes from an expected monthly gift. We also hope that we can build a relationship with their staff and possibly even volunteer in ways that support their work.
